Matt Yardley

Partner, Analysys Mason

Matt Yardley is a Partner at Analysys Mason, where he has worked since 1997. He has advised operators and investors on next-generation network strategies; broadcasters on content distribution using broadband networks; regulators on competitive issues in next-generation access networks; and governments on broadband public policy and national broadband plans.

He has advised the European Commission on the Digital Agenda for Europe; the European Investment Bank on broadband market development in Euro-Mediterranean countries; and the ITU on policies to deliver universal broadband.

Matt is a regular speaker at industry conferences and has been quoted in a wide range of newspapers and other leading titles, including the Financial Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal and Total Telecom, among others. Matt holds a B.Eng. Honours Degree (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering from UMIST, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester.
