Maria Cristina Antonucci

Maria Cristina Antonucci is a social sciences researcher working for Italian National Research Council since 2010. After a BS in Political Science, she enrolled in a PhD Programme in Political Sociology at University Rome 1, where obtained her PhD degree with a dissertation on global and local influences in Italian lobbying. Since 2004, she has been teaching political sociology, political science and sociology in some Italian Universities (Rome 1, L’Aquila, Rome 3, where she is currently teaching). Her research topics are: political participation, pressure groups and lobbying, political communication and the connections between the tech system and the political system. She wrote many essays, book chapters and books: among the latest: Rappresentanza degli interessi oggi. Il lobbying nelle istituzioni politiche europee e italiane (Interest Representation today.
