Friday, 22 March 2019
Rome  智慧城市与数字转型对话 -意大利和中国- 如何让城市更连通、更智能?

As you may already know, China has the largest number of Smart Cities projects in the world and represents a huge opportunity for Italian industry and cities. Of the 1000 projects under construction in various countries, over 500 are in China’s both large and small cities. China aims to create 100 “smart cities” from 2016 to 2020.

Smart Cities can become a strategic area of investment and cooperation between Italian and Chinese companies. Thanks to artificial intelligence, big data, sensors, IoT, and cloud services, it is possible to provide citizens with new services and improve their quality of life. At the same time, huge business potentials for the Italian industry in the sector are all to be explored to spur economic growth.

The event, organized in the margin of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Italy, will represent a dialogue on Italy-China cooperation on Smart Cities and Digital Transformation. Italy can also play an important role in the smart city development; the event aims to show Italian excellence in the sector and the best practices of Italian Municipalities.
