Huawei, has announced plans to further increase procurement spending in the EU as part of its European investment strategy. At its European Partner Convention on 20 October, it highlighted the role of its solid partner ecosystem in delivering win-win results. Fourteen partners were given one of Huawei’s European supplier awards for their outstanding contribution to this process.
Having purchased US$3.4 billion worth of components, engineering and logistical services from Europe in 2013, Huawei’s procurement spending in the region is gathering further speed. By 2015, Huawei is expected to make direct purchases worth US$4.08 billion.
