TELECOM: Group Compliance Officer
Since February 13, 2013 he has been Group Compliance Officer at Telecom Italia He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Turin and is a registered Auditor. He has held a number of managerial positions within the Telecom Italia Group, which he joined in 1986 as Controller in STET, the former holding company of the Italian TLC Group. With the merger of STET and Telecom Italia in 1997, he was appointed responsible for the Group’s Budget within the Administration, Budget and Control function of the newly created Telecom Italia S.p.A.
Throughout the ‘90s he was member of the Board of Directors and member of the Board of Internal Auditors in many of the Group’s affiliates and he was also part of the project teams managing extraordinary corporate operations.
In 2001 he was appointed CFO of the Telecom Argentina Group and during the over eight years of activity in the Argentinean operator he successfully contributed to the company’s debt restructuring process.
In July 2010 he was appointed Chairman of Telecom Italia Sparkle.
