Fiona Taylor

Director, EU Affairs and Global Internet Strategy

Fiona Taylor is Director EU Affairs and Global Internet Strategy for Verizon. In addition to being a leading communications provider in the U.S., Verizon provides voice, data, and Internet services to customers in more than 150 countries.

Fiona joined Verizon in October 2010 and is in charge of the company’s representation at EU level and global Internet developments in line with Verizon’s Global Strategy. Fiona has over 13 years’ experience in EU public affairs and ecommunications policy. Prior to joining Verizon, Fiona worked with the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association (ETNO) as Senior Adviser in Public Affairs. Her responsibilities included both the overall strategic positioning of the Association and focusing on the impact of ecommerce on the member companies. Fiona holds an MA in Communications Policy from the City University in London and a BA in European Studies/Government and Politics from University of Kent.
