Andrea Mangoni

TELECOM : Head of Administration, Finance and Control & International Development
He was born in Terni on June 5, 1963. He is married and has two chidren. Since April 15, 2011 he has been Head of Administration, Finance and Control & International Development at Telecom Italia. From November 2009 he was Director of Administration, Finance and Control. After graduating in 1988 at the University of Rome with a thesis on valuation and private financing of investments in public infrastructures, he began his professional career in InterAmerican Development Bank (World Bank Group). From 1996 to March 2009 he worked in Acea, where he was also appointed Chief Executive Officer in November 2003.
In Acea he held various roles of increasing responsibility: President Assistant, responsible for the transformation process of Acea from municipal company into share capital company (1996-1997); manager of the Finance Department, responsible of strategic planning (from January 1998 to December 1999); Strategic Planning Director (from January 2000 to May 2001). In 2002 he was appointed common representative of the Joint Venture among Acea, Electrabel and Energia Italiana, which brought to the acquisition of Interpower, the third generation company sold by Enel.
From June 2001 to February 2003 he was Chief Financial Officer, responsible of strategies, finance, budget, economic planning and control, investor relations of Acea. From March 2003 to November 2003 he was General Manger of Acea. From November 2003 to March 2009 he was CEO of Acea. On July 1, 2009 Mr. Mangoni joined the Telecom Italia Group as Director of International Business at Telecom Italia S.p.A. and General Manager of Telecom Italia Sparkle, position he held until July 2010. In November 2009 he was appointed Director of Administration, Finance and Control at Telecom Italia.
